- I realized that some people may want a minimal X window. While I try
- to come up with a minimal configuration for general distribution, someone
- other than me can come up with a first crack at it.
- Personally, I don't think this is an unreasonable request given the
- fact that X is publicly availabe, the diffs for X386 1.2e 1.0.1 and
- that people have actually built X servers on their machine.

- As for X dragging your machine down, first thing that comes up to
- my is what is your hardware configuration? And, how much memory
- to you have? Also, do you have the patch to the com driver to
- solve the select problem.

- X that you think it lacks. Bear in mind that motif and openlook have
- been ported to X386 .
