- Maybe they've cut a sweet deal with a heavyweight like Microsoft.
- (Say) Microsoft gets the details of how the card works and thus
- gets a headstart on everyone else. Microsoft then kicks some $$$
- Diamond's way and also recommends that Windows 3.X be run with
- the Diamond Stealth whatever. Maybe Diamond will let
- lightweights and netters in on the secret a year or two later,
- maybe not.
