- Hi, 386bsd hackers!
- I have some strange troubles with this system:
-
- Problem description:
- Can't install 386BSD into 0xa5 partition, but installation on whole
- disk is sucessfull.
- This bug is independent of partition size and order.
-
- 'install' diagnostics:
- "High level... disk storage:"
- Disk parameters and partition size are correct.
- After "super-block backups ..." and its numbers 'install' says:
- newfs: ioctl (WDINFO): No such process
- newfs: /dev/rwd0a: can't rewrite disk label
-
- Hardware:
- ST-1239A (IDE) with _real_ CMOS configuration, i.e. 1272 x 9 x 36
-
- Thanx in advance for any helps and hints.
