  12. I have just booted the from the boot floppy.
  13. When I try to start tcp with ifconfig it works and I can ftp but I get 
  14. start printed out on the screen repeatedly.

  16. Is this normal?  I have a ne1000 compatable card.   Does this indicate
  17. some incompatablity with the card.
