  12. I've been out of things for the last couple of months with first
  13. illness, then a holiday then a departmental move so after finally
  14. getting my machines on the net I thought I'd update my 0.0 to 0.1.

  16. I get the dist.fs onto a floppy and it boots fine, recognises all my
  17. devices and everything looks good until I type install. Bingo - Floating
  18. point exception.

  20. At this point there's not a lot I can do since there's no source for
  21. install. I'll spend the rest of this night loading the 0.0 way using the
  22. fixit.fs disk but I thought I'd better report my problem.

  24. My machine is a noname with

  26.     25Mhz OCTEK Hippo-486 motherboard
  27.     ACE IDE-I/O card
  28.     ST1144A IDE disk
  29.     AMI Bios
  30.     4M memory
  31.     Trident 1M 8900 video card
  32.     
  33. It's going to be difficult to track down this problem since I'm not
  34. going to use install again so does anyone have any ideas??

  36. If there's a difference with my motherboard then I'm going to get these
  37. exceptions again so I'd like to find out what's causing them.
