- There are some options, which hopefully have been looked at:

- 1. You have some floppy drive problem... it may be _thats_
- the reason that installing doesn't work. Has it been
- acting up at all?

- 2. Strange SCSI termination... Or possibly cabling?

- 3. A bad SCSI port.

- 4. A bad disk... as you may know, the SCSI throughput of the
- IIci is faster than all Macs but the Quadras (the IIci's
- about 1.8MB/s). Maybe pushing the disk to faster speeds
- causes problems.

- How much was different between the IIci and the IIsi? That is, what were
- the conmfigurations of _both_ machines?
