- O.K.,
- Boy, this A/UX 3.0 thing is getting REALLY STRANGE!!! Let me tell you!
- I am having trouble installing 3.0 on my IIci, BIG TROUBLE! In fact, I went
- so far as to take my hard drive out of my computer, put it in a friends IIsi,
- and install 3.0 on his machine (with MY hard drive) and then PUT MY hard drive
- back in my machine. Well to my surprise, IT WORKED!!! I can't understand WHY
- I can now boot A/UX, but I can.
-
- Why would I be able to install 3.0 on his IIsi, and NOT on my IIci?
- We both have IDENTICLE hardrives, and I am using a CD-Techologies CD-ROM
- player (which shows up as a Toshiba XM-3301TA under SCSI Check). I guess the
- only culprit left is my SCSI port/driver/WHAT?!?!? I am so confused, it is
- not funny! The techs at Apple have NO CLUE as to what the problem is! So,
- you netters are my LAST hope! Any suggestions/comments? Please let me know!
-
- Oh, thanks to all who responded to my first two postings! It is nice
- to know pleople are willing to help out!
