- HELP AGAIN!!!!!!
-
- This situation is REALLY starting to get me worried! I am having an
- IMPOSSIBLE time installing A/UX 3.0!! I can't seem to get past the launching
- screen and it is really starting to p*ss me off!!
-
- O.K., I am trying to install 3.0 on my machine which has the following:
-
- MAC IIci w/ 20MB RAM
- Quantum 105MB Drive --> LP105S
- Toshiba XM-3301TA CD-ROM Drive
- Internal Video Port
-
- Looks pretty good right?! WRONG!! I can't get the installer to get past the
- launching screen for beans! I took the CD-ROM drive over to a friends house
- and hooked it up to his IIsi (9MB, Quantum 105MB Drive, Same Player) and the
- stupid thing worked like a charm!! When I try to boot it with my IIci, the
- program freezes up about a little less than half way through the launching
- process. What the heck could be wrong!? I guess it's my machine, but I can't
- seem to find ANYTHING wrong with it. Could it be my SCSI port (Doubtful) or
- what?!? Oh, BTW I have my Internal drive set to Address #0, and the CD-ROM
- player addressed to #1. Please E-MAIL me with any help! Thanks!
