  12. I was just wondering why Commodore is not releassing his Unix 
  13. port on CD-ROM, since the drive is easily available and cheap
  14. and they do anyway write CD-ROMs for the CDTV. It would be
  15. much easier to boot from a CD-ROM drive and then install the Unix 
  16. on the HD, or just have the root dir. and the swap there and the
  17. whole system on the CD. Sure it would not be as fast as having the
  18. system on the HD, but it would save some hundreds of megabytes.

  20. So who finds it would be a good idea, what whould be the inconvenients?

  22. (If I remeber Sun is actualy distributing much of his software
  23. on CDROM and several other vendors do the same)
