- If you're running 37.175, the "Sync" battmem bit has no effect.
- Under later unreleased V37 versions, it does work and cause sync negotiation.
- If you were to then boot unix you would have a problem - this can be solved
- by resetting the SCSI bus before trying to access the drives. Some drives
- (such as Quantums) have a non-standard bit that can be set (and saved) to
- make it start sync negotiation.
