  29.     If you're running 37.175, the "Sync" battmem bit has no effect.
  30. Under later unreleased V37 versions, it does work and cause sync negotiation.
  31. If you were to then boot unix you would have a problem - this can be solved
  32. by resetting the SCSI bus before trying to access the drives.  Some drives
  33. (such as Quantums) have a non-standard bit that can be set (and saved) to
  34. make it start sync negotiation.
