- Hello all. I just set up a modem (Supra v.32/14.4) on /dev/ser.
-
- I changed the /etc/saf/serial/_pmtab file to read:
-
- ser:u:root:reserved:reserved:reserved::/dev/term/ser:bhr:0:/usr/bin/login:150:19200M:ldterm,ttcompat:ser login\: ::#
-
- And I started the serial port by issuing the command 'pmadm -e -p serial -s ser'
-
- Anyways, I can login to another unix via cu and the modem displays a connect
- of 14.4k v.32bis. Except that I only see text coming at me at 2400 baud.
-
- Am I missing something? Can cu display text faster than 2400? Or is it limited
- somehow?
-
- Also any hints on how to get the terminal set up correctly would be
- appreciated... Using vi through cu is screwing up the terminal big time.
-
- Thanks again for any info!
