- This sounds like a problem I have seen once before. If an I/O error occurs
- writing to the jfslog for a filesystem, (the log is usually /dev/hd8), any
- subsequent changes to the filesystem (creating, removing, renaming files)
- result in an I/O error. I think you can recover by unmounting the filesystem
- and running fsck on it. Does the errlog indicate any hardware problems? You
- may want to certify the disk containing the jfslog from diagnostics.
