  23. Don't use penable on dialin/dialout ports; use pdelay.  Personally, I
  24. don't care for ATE; I use cu (or tip although there are problems with
  25. tip in at least 3.1).  If you want more information, write me for a
  26. copy of the IBM Modem Guide.  Here's a smit def and hayes ultra
  27. configuration for one of our modem ports (hope it helps):
