- Don't use penable on dialin/dialout ports; use pdelay. Personally, I
- don't care for ATE; I use cu (or tip although there are problems with
- tip in at least 3.1). If you want more information, write me for a
- copy of the IBM Modem Guide. Here's a smit def and hayes ultra
- configuration for one of our modem ports (hope it helps):
