  29. Do you have an HFT console or are you using the serial port (with
  30. possibly nothing plugged in)?

  32. We found a problem that when there's NO console device on the
  33. system a child srcmstr hangs when trying to write to the console.  We
  34. had quite a few systems with no console except when needed and
  35. were finding this quite often.  The fix is not in 3.2.1 or 3.2.2.

  37. There's a fixid for this - U403042 in bos.obj (APAR IX23653).
