- Like everyone else, we have applied the posixdd and ptydd fixes. If anything,
- it has made the problem worse. We see sessions hang with rlogin, telnet, xterm,
- and aixterm. Per Bob Shairs note concerning csh, I have gotten hung up from
- ksh on the console. Resizing the window, cat'ing a file to the pty, and the
- STOP sig and restart seem to work in most cases. We have an apar open, but I
- don't know the status ( I'm supposed to be on vacation ). We are getting close
- to turning a bibliographic database server running on a 560 on to the campus
- and the Internet. These work arounds won't do for the average folk. This needs
- fixing post haste!
