- There have been answers hinting aat using `ansitape', a well-known PD tape
- program. Well, I wrote a utility 'slt' or 'sltape' also handling both ANSI
- and IBM tapes. BUT: This is CMS (resp. VM370) and this is a completely
- different system, with a different tape format. There is a PD program
- 'cmstape', which can handle CMS 'TAPE DUMP' archives. check archie!
- I do not know, if this utility covers all formats and variants (the man
- of my version says explicitly NO to the VMFPLC2 format), so take a close
- look. I have never seen anything about SAS tapes and manipulation of these
- on UNIX systems.
-
- Good luck!
