- An undocumented feature of the Korn-shell is the TMOUT environment
- variable. It enables you to timeout the shell in a certain amount
- of seconds.
- Questions:
- - One minute before timeout you get the message
- "shell time out in 60 seconds"
- Can I suppress this message ?
- - Does the timeout raise a signal (SIGALRM) ?
- - What is the meaning of the A__z environment variable ?
- (It equals "*TMOUT )
