- 2. We looked into this a few months ago. Along with SLIP there
- is something called PPP (point-to-point-protocol) that has more
- bells and whistles than slip. There is even an RFC for PPP, as
- well as a bunch of files, that we found on ftp.uu.net

- running IP over X25 using magic S-bus cards and software from some
- places called Themis (hw) and Brixton (sw).
