  14. I want to connect an Hayes-compatibel MNP5-Modem at our Sparc2. It's only for
  15. incoming calls. It would be *very* useful if it is possible to use programs
  16. like kermit, telix, uniterm (normal vt100 emulation) to log in from outside.

  20. The type of the modem is Discovery 2400 BPS from DATATRONICS (I think, this is
  21. not important).

  23. I experimented with a normal getty; it went well, but after half an hour the
  24. modem hangs up.
