  12. I am attempting to include MacDraw figures into a TeX document
  13. using psfig and dvips and encounter the following problem:

  15. In System 7 it is possible to simply print a document as Postscript, 
  16. rather than 'tricking' the printer driver into producing postscript
  17. via a Command-F.  The postscript file that is produced is better than
  18. what one got in earlier versions of the system in that the printer-init
  19. appears to be included in the Postscript document.  You can simply send
  20. this postscript file to a laser printer without any header file.

  22. Unfortunately, this doesn't appear to work with psfig --- you get garbage
  23. all over the page.  It is as if the header in the postscript file
  24. from the Macintosh is incompatible in some way with the headers used by
  25. psfig.
