- I am trying to convert a dvi file I received into postscript. I have
- downloaded dvips for MSDOS but when I try to convert the file it says
- the fonts are not available with names like cmbx12 etc. I downloaded
- another piece of software called sbmf which is supposed to be able to
- create these fonts. Did this and created files with .pk and .tfm
- extensions and put them in the directories I thought they should be in.
- Ran dvips again this time it found the .tfm files but not the .pk files
- and created some sort of parameter file to create same from I don't know
- what and said "run mfjob dvips" . what is mfjob? and what do the
- parameters in the file mean they do not seem to be the same as those for
- sbmf??
- Can anyone help?
-
- I only want to print one file I don't want to become an expert on TeX!
