  12. Our local IBM mainframe has a 3820 laster printer on it that can handle 
  13. duplex printing.  The mainframe has TeX and dvi support for the 3820, but
  14. I'd rather use the TeX system on our unix system.  My problem is moving the
  15. dvi files from the ascii based unix system to the ebcdic based ibm mainframe.

  17. I've done a little of of looking and asking around, but can't seem to find
  18. anything that looks like it would be useful for making an easy transition
  19. between the systems.

  21. Has anyone else done any TeX work on an IBM mainframe running VM/CMS??  Any
  22. suggestions on dealing with the transfers would be appreciated.
