  13. I'm using the TeX 3.14 distribution from u.washington with the TeXPS package
  14. to print my documents.  I've discovered a weird feature of dvitps when 
  15. printing documents.

  17. When I use dvitps to convert a dvi file and attempt to print it, the page
  18. comes out ok but leaves the printer in a hung state such that no more print
  19. jobe will be accepted (it's a HP laserjet III - so the light just sits there
  20. flashing).  However if I use the old dvi2ps distributed with TeX 3.0 it works
  21. just fine.

  23. Well, you may ask, why don't I just use the old version, well it doesn't handle
  24. psfig stuff correctly and I'm inserting quite a bit of PS into the TeX 
  25. documentation.

  27. Has anybody run into this problem before, or have any suggestions?

  29. PS. Configuration is a DECstation 5000/25 printing remotely to a HP LJ III on
  30. a DS 5000/240 using DECnative lpr, and TeX 3.14 compiled using DECnative cc.
