  20. The PACT Parallel C compiler is an ANSI conforming C compiler for all
  21. 32-bits transputers, with language extensions for parallel processing.

  23. The extensions include a par construct to start parallel threads, a
  24. channel type for interthread communication, and an alt construct to
  25. select between multiple channels and timeouts.

  27. Both performance and ANSI conformance are very good.  It's very stable.
