  13.      Does anyone know how to read ALL ethernet packets from the
  14.      device or if it is possible to retrieve the information from
  15.      the "rpc.etherd" process running on the system.  The purpose
  16.      of the inquiry is for a home grown ethernet monitor which I
  17.      intend to create.  The monitor would need to reference the
  18.      source address, destination address, protocol type, packet
  19.      size, etc.  If you do have information concerning this issue
  20.      I would appreciate it.
