- We find ourselves in the position of being able to borrow a Kodak XL7700
- SCSI color printer if we can make it work. We would like to attach it
- to a Sun SparcStation 2 running 4.1.2, but it did not come with an
- appropriate driver.
-
- Does anybody happen to have a SCSI printer driver for SunOS? We have
- what looks like full documentation on the printer (but not Sun's SCSI
- documentation) so modifying an existing driver should be possible.
- Naturally, the closer the match the better. :-)
-
- The printer would only be used for occasional color images, so it is
- possible to have a human in attendance to check for printer error
- conditions instead of the driver needing to be particularly robust.
-
- Since it is not our printer, we don't want to spend money on it,
- although I can pass suggestions for commercial drivers on to the
- owners.
