- You're pretty much hosed as far as the OS, OpenWin, etc is concerned
- (ie, everything that's "proprietary" Sun). Sun doesn't give anybody the
- right to resell SunOS except the vendors of SPARC clones, and I believe
- they only support their own products.

- If you want to "go naked" it's not a bad situation as long as you don't
- want OpenWindows. Get nekkid X, or buy Motif if you need a fancy GUI.
- Most other standard UNIX tools are available from FSF. You can get
- basic X and the FSF tools prebuilt on a CD-ROM from the Sun user group.

- Remember, you can't get new versions (upgrades) of SunOS without
- a licence. If you upgrade regularly it's might be cost-effective to
- buy a S/W maintentance contract.
