  25. I intend to purchase either an IPC or an IPX in the next few months,
  26. maybe together with a desktop module, SPARCprinter, etc.

  28. My question regards the power requirements of such a machine.
  29. Although I live in the U.S right now, I will (hopefully) graduate at
  30. some point and will relocate back to Europe (my signature will betray
  31. me :-).

  33. [As we all know] In the US the voltage is 110V at 60Hz; back home,
  34. however, we use 220V at 50Hz.  What I would like to know is whether
  35. this will be a problem with the equipment.  Will I have to (from worst
  36. to most desirable):
  37. - buy a huge/large power converter
  38. - replace all the power supplies (box, monitor, desktop modules,
  39.   printer, etc, ouch!!)
  40. - just replace a fuse
  41. - just flip a switch
  42. - just get the right power cord
  43.  
  44. Also, are any parts of the equipment special in this respect (say the
  45. monitor) ?
  46.  
  47. Anyone who knows about this (or has gone through the same procedure)
  48. and can give some info, I will appreciate.
