- We are presently supporting a large project using 4 SPARCstation2s
- running SunOS 4.1.2. We have now reached the point where we must order
- 4 more suns. Does anyone know for sure whether code compiled on a single
- cpu Sparc 10 will run correctly on our existing Sparc2s? Would we need to
- upgrade all systems to 4.1.3? If we ordered Sparc10s we would like
- to move development to the 10s and use the Sparc2's at remote test sites
- where they would be mainly used to "execute" project software. Whatver
- happens we need to wind-up with 8 compatible systems.
