  12. I'm interested in getting another SS2-class machine, but I'm
  13. a little reluctant to shell out for an IPX or SS2, given what
  14. they cost, especially since I hear that a $5K color machine
  15. from Sun is due out sometime.  On the other hand, I could use a new
  16. machine sooner than 6+ months from now, so I'm weighing all sorts
  17. of economic factors.

  19. In the process of trying to decide what to do, I was wondering
  20. what the going rate is for a SS2 clone from the handful clone makers.
  21. Is there a significant price difference?  Is it really a clone
  22. performance-wise?  Is any one of them a particularly good deal?
  23. Where do you buy these things, anyway?
