- Well, I know it can be done....
-
- One option is to buy a Centronics parallel Sbus card. What's the
- cheapest one? I recall reading about a $199 Centronics parallel sbus
- card somewhere....
-
- Another possibility is a serial->parallel converter, which is probably
- alot cheaper. The problem (?) here is that the cheap ones (<$65) I've
- found only do hardware flow control. It seems, though, that the
- hardware flow control is in the correct direction (i.e. output from
- the ss1 to the serial-parallel converter) for it to work (I know this
- is an oft-hashed over point, so I just RTFM'd on termios/CRTSCTS to
- double check). Can anyone confirm that this does indeed work
- correctly? Recommendations?
-
- Thanks....
