- The 690 cabinet can consume power via the cardcage PSU (one or two KW max) and
- via the disk trays and maybe a 1/2" tape drive. The max config could well
- consume over 3KW but a typical config is around 1KW.

- Given the exact config - specified as per a Sun quote with product codes
- ideally - there is a Sun internal tool that can give a steady state wattage.

- This tool (Sales Product Order Checker - SPOC) feeds off the quote database
- so cannot be used away from Sun's internal network. You could ask a Sun sales
- or SE person to run your config through SPOC. SPOC is localised to each
- geography so I can only check UK configs (i.e. 240V). Some Sun offices may
- not have access to SPOC.

- it includes the Watts and BTU for the config.
