- The IPX's (and the ELC's) only have 4 slots. A 4MB or 16MB SIMM may
- be installed in any available slot. The memory used provides addressing
- for a full 32 bit word on one SIMM, as opposed to 4 SIMMS. This allows
- memory to be added one unit at a time.
-
- All of our IPX's came shipped with one 16MB SIMM. This leaves three slots
- open for a max. of 64MB.
-
- Also take note of the order in which Sun recommends filling in the slots
- (1, 3, 2, 4).
