  20. If you run tools remotely, it doesn't save that information, though
  21. 'xlsclients' (and 'toolplaces'?) can.  It strips out conditional stuff, so
  22. you end up creating different .openwin-init files for color and monochrome
  23. and do silly hackery in your .xinitrc to use the right one.  It doesn't
  24. like FrameMaker, either.

  26. Punt, and edit your .openwin-init by hand.  And just for good measure,
  27. make it read only! :-)
