- Our xd0 disk, <CDC 9720-1230 cyl 1633 alt 2 hd 15 sec 82>, has
- multiple bad sectors on it. About 1120, to be exact. (Or so format's
- `extract` program tells me.)

- If I try to format this disk, I get the "Bad Block Map Table
- Overflow" error. The only solution the SysAdmin manual has is to
- "remove the unreal defects." Unfortunately, all of the defects are
- real, to my knowledge.

- Suggestions on how to get that bad blocks marked as bad, and
- the disk formatted, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
