  13.     Our xd0 disk, <CDC 9720-1230 cyl 1633 alt 2 hd 15 sec 82>, has
  14. multiple bad sectors on it.  About 1120, to be exact.  (Or so format's
  15. `extract` program tells me.)
  16.  
  17.     If I try to format this disk, I get the "Bad Block Map Table
  18. Overflow" error.  The only solution the SysAdmin manual has is to
  19. "remove the unreal defects."  Unfortunately, all of the defects are
  20. real, to my knowledge.

  22.     Suggestions on how to get that bad blocks marked as bad, and
  23. the disk formatted, would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance.
