  12. I've seen this subject discussed several times in this newsgroup, but 
  13. haven't encountered the problem until now -
  14.  
  15. I am looking after a Sun 670 server which has an NCD X terminal attached
  16. as a console terminal (serial connection). When the NCD is turned off,
  17. the machine hangs. (This is apparently a generic serial console problem
  18. and is not NCD-specific).
  19.  
  20. Do I need a different serial cable? If so, what are the pinouts required?
  21. If not, what do I do now?
