  13. I have a strange request that's PROBABLY in the FAQ, but not knowing
  14. where to find that (always a chicken and egg scenario, you have
  15. a FAQ, but need the FAQ to find the answer, but have to ask
  16. where the FAQ is which is, itself, an FAQ!).

  19. We have set up a YPMASTER, but now we want to set up some
  20. YP slaves. Problem: How do we regularly update the slaves
  21. from the master (which runs yppasswdd so all passwd are changed
  22. there). I suppose we could run ypxfr, except that some of the
  23. machines slated to be YP slaves don't have ypxfr (we don't
  24. own a source license either...:-(  ).

  33. But then the machine answered that it's not in the
  34. ypserver map! OK, so how do I add something to a server
  35. map, when it's not a server yet?

  37. Do most people use cron to "push" the maps out to ypsalve servers?

  40. Any advice on this problem is greatly welcome!
