- When I remove the secure entry from the console line in the ttytab file, or
- change secure to insecure, the workstation requires a password when
- booting single user. This is what I want it to do, but this also causes
- root logins on the console not to be allowed. Is there a way to have a
- password required upon a single user boot, but still allow root login
- on the console when up muli-user? I have left the secure option on for
- the ptys so root can login remotely once up multi-user.
-
- Thanks for any input.
