- Hi.... Guess what... I got troubles again... and I hope you all can help me
- (yet again).
-
- I have a Sun 3/60 with a 150 meg SCSI drive with SunOS 4.1 installed and
- I did a bad thing. While I was "learning," I accidently activated
- the NIS functions... Now, when my standalone boots, it forever asks
- where server noname is... "NIS: server "noname" is not responding;
- still trying." It starts this well before I get a login prompt...
- Is there anyway I can make it "stop trying..?" I know what to
- do to fix this once I get logged on, but I can't break out of that
- loop to get on... Please... there must be SOME way to fix this
- without a reinstall...
-
- Hopefully, you all know what it is!
-
- ---> Thanks!
