  13.     Here is the problem:
  14.     Few days ago I lost all the .o files inmy system.
  15.     The system is a SUN server 630 MP running 4.1.2. (sun4m architecture).

  17.     I recoverd many files exept the following:

  19.     /usr/lib/debug/malloc.o
  20.     /usr/lib/debug/mallocmap.o
  21.     /usr/lib/misalign/crt0.o
  22.     /usr/lib/misalign/mcrt0.o
  23.     /usr/lib/misalign/gcrt0.o
  24.     /usr/lib/crt0.o
  25.     /usr/lib/mcrt0.o
  26.     /usr/lib/gcrt0.o
  27.     /usr/lib/adb/adbsub.o
  28.     /usr/lib/bb_link.o
  29.     /usr/lddrv/cg8/cg8.o
  30.     
  31.     and all files of:
  32.  
  33.     /usr/kvm/sys/sun4m/OBJ/*.o
  34.  
  35.     And the back up of the /usr partition didn't work that day.
  36.  
  37.     Now I am trying to get them back.
  38.     I tried the "/usr/etc/install/add_services" program.
  39.     I answered the questions to extract the Sys media file.
  40.     And it worked, I got all the "/usr/kvm/sys/sun4m/OBJ/*.o" files back.

  42.     So I say ok lets get the others back. 
  43.     I ran "/usr/etc/install/add_services" again and asked for 
  44.     the "usr" media file.
  45.     But I got the following answer:

  73.     And then if I want to rerun "/usr/etc/install/add_services" to get 
  74.     again the Sys media file that I got with the same methode I get 
  75.     the error messages as well.

  83.     1- The media volume is a CD so everything shuld be on there and I
  84.         don't have to change volume.
  85.     2- does anybody know what the problem is?
  86.     3- does anybody know how I can get back the .o files of my /usr
  87.        file system? Namely:
