- Hi, I am trying to install Sun's Account Resource Manager (ARM) product
- on a range of Sparc machines. The product installs (eventually, stupid
- 4.1.1 revision error in the installation script prevents installation
- on 4.1.2 without first copying the entire CDROM distribution to disk and
- editing the script) and the daemons fire up just fine. Even armtool seems
- to work (after a fashion). Its just that it doesn't seem to *DO* anything.
-
- I have created an account record for root at this stage, and wish to get
- the autolockscreen function working. Absolutuely no effect, and yes I am
- in OpenWindows. Also tried to get the maximum logins and maximum bad logins
- working, but no go there either.
-
- Is the problem that I am using root, which bypasses all these things, or
- that I have forgotten to do something (I have established the /etc/rpc
- entries, and I am not using secure rpc), is it the phases of the moon, or
- maybe I am just basically stupid, what is the meaning of life???? :)
-
- Does anyone out there have any experience with this package?
