- Does anyone know if there problems with mixing SCSI drive sizes in a logical
- volume or if there is a limit (ie. triggers some "bugs" ;-) associated with
- logical volumes on IRIX 4 systems.
-
- Basically, we have a 340 and we have a logical volume which consists of 3
- 780M SCSI drives. We wish to add a fourth SCSI disk to the lv which is 1.2Gb,
- but I am unsure whether this will make the lv too large for IRIX to *SAFELY*
- handle. We currently are using 4.0.1, but have 4.0.5A if this would be better.
-
- Any comments, suggestions or tips would be much appreciated. I will
- post a summary if there is interest.
