  20. I would strongly suggest you examine the Tektronix Phaser II SX
  21. printer, resold by SGI through Hardware Express (a newly formed
  22. sibling of Software Express.)  List price is US $4995, a very
  23. competitive price.

  25. The Phaser II engines produce very nice transparencies, and the SX
  26. printer uses the Display PostScript support of 4.0.1 and later OS
  27. releases on the PI or Indigo to render incredibly quickly on the host.
  28. For complex PostScript and SGI Images (such as are commonly desired
  29. for transparencies) the SX is an unbeatable speed champ.

  31. The Phaser II is also available as a standard PostScript printer, as
  32. the Phaser II PXi, list price US $7995.
