  10. As far as I can tell, if I want to use histeq on my MR images, then I need
  11. to use frombin to convert to SGI image format.  Except, it seems that frombin
  12. works with single byte wide data.  MY MRs are 2 bytes for each pixel.  Is
  13. there a way that I can do this without scaling down to one byte?
