  13. I have two questions about GNU's gcc-2.2.2 on an Iris 4d-70G:

  15. a) Using the GL Library:
  16.    Is there a C++ interface-classlib available, which uses the power of
  17.    C++ on GL programming?
  18.    (What do you think in general about using GNU's C++ with the GL?)

  20. b) Building gcc-2.2.2 
  21.  
  22.    Since we switched to Irix 4.01 I tried several times to compile gcc-2.2.2
  23.    on our 4d-70G.
  24.    For some disturbing reason I seem to be the only one so far, encountering
  25.    problems building the compiler. I got at least half a dozen replies
  26.    from other SGI users who hat no trouble at all.
  27.    Note that I had no difficulties with the previous gcc-2.x versions
  28.    when we still ran Irix 3.3.x
