  13. I just received a quote for C++ 3.0 (SC4-C++-3.0) and Fortran 77 (SC4-FTN-3.5)
  14. from an SG Express rep. Both products were listed in parentheses as being
  15. "3.10 backend based", with a note from the sales rep that I needed to have an
  16. R4000 based system to use them. Is this true? It sounds rather strange to me.

  18. What is your interpretation of this:
  19. (a) Only the R4000 systems have sufficiently updated software to support
  20.     3.10 level compilers?

  22. (b) Her statement was inaccurate, and she just means that these products now
  23.     also provide explicit support for the R4000 systems?
