- After shutting down the network and mail daemons then
- restarting I noticed that the famd daemon does not
- get restarted unless I do a reboot. Is there a way
- I can restart famd without a reboot? I also thought
- that by running /etc/init.d/network start causes
- inetd to reread the inetd.conf file which starts the famd
- daemon. But that didn't work. Any clues?
