- Hi,
- One of our faculty recently inherited an IRIS 3130 with wat seems to be a
- QIC-02 cartridge tape drive. The manual says it can write to a 600ft tape
- for up to 60MB of storage. When I try to use a Sony DC600A I get constant
- write/read errors on both /dev/rmt1 and /dev/rmt2 (which both access the
- one drive). Am I using the wrong tapes? Can anyone give me some examples
- of tar, cpio, or dd commands that have worked on their similar systems?
-
- Thanks for any help,
- Marc
