- SGI is now shipping a product called Impressario which does this for
- HP DeskJet 500C printers. It supports SGI Image, text, and Color
- PostScript to the printer as well. DeskJets and PaintJets aren't the
- same, though.

- I recommend the parallel port, there's fewer configurations to worry
- about and its a LOT faster.

- Check out Impressario, it may well be worth a little $$ (and less time
- spent) to add Color PostScript capability to these printers. You'll
- still have to write the converter from generic bitmap to printer
- (PCL2??) format, but that's all you'll need to do.
