  17. i'm in the process of setting up a slip connection between an indigo-elan
  18. and a 320 vgx, both running 4.0.2 -- previously we ran the connection
  19. via telebit trailblazer modems without any problems, however i'm having
  20. difficultly configuring for the new multi tech ii's -- i've edited the
  21. dialer script (/usr/lib/uucp/Dialers) and placed and entry for the multi that
  22. turns off compression, etc... -- this works fine -- but on the server end,
  23. i'm having trouble with the uugetty -- i've set up the Dialer in the same
  24. way as the client side (once again compression off, etc...) but the
  25. slip connection never initiates -- when i do a simple uucp connect without
  26. the slip, it doesn't work either --

  28. anybody have any luck with running slip with these new modems, and if so
  29. could you send me the dialer script with the proper commands -- thanx!
